It’s hard to believe I started doing these monthly TBR lists in 2019 and they have somehow stuck for this long. I’m not sure why they have become somewhat successful for me, but I’m sticking to it and seeing how it goes in 2023.
Safe to say January was not the best of reading months, but it was a quality reading month so I’m calling it a win. Not only did I get to reread Anna but I read 2 other amazing 5 stars books that will be out this year. I’m also 20ish% through another 2023 release and I’m loving it. I have resigned myself to the fact that I may not read like I used to when I was reading 125 books a year, but it’s okay. It is a marathon and not a sprint and my marathon of 2023 just started with a quality time.
The funny thing about not reading a lot is the amount of books I have on my Kindle that I am super excited about that I just don’t have the time to read. With my other hobbies/interest and work and home life stuff the reading has been pushed. Hopefully in February I will read at least 4 but only time will tell. I can say that my Pivoy Point reread and books 2, 5 and 9 are the ones I’m making a priority for the month.
What do you do for a monthly TBR? Do you stick to a list or wing it? Have you read any of these?
