Review: Breathe, Annie, Breathe – Miranda Kenneally + a Giveaway {CLOSED}

Review: Breathe, Annie, Breath..

First and foremost I will state of the bat that I was lucky enough to read a very, very early draft version of this book that was sent to me by the author. I say this because I want it clear that the opinion I have on this book was not swayed by any shape or form by the opportunity to be a BETA reader. These thoughts are my thoughts and my thoughts alone. With that out of the way I can tell you that Breathe, Annie, Breathe is the MOST FANTASTIC book that Miranda Kenneally has ever written. It […]

Review: The Chapel Wars – Lindsey Leavitt

Review: The Chapel Wars –..

The thing I like about Lindsey Leavitt is her ability to write a cute story but to layer it with something serious. She did it with Sean Griswold’s Head, Going Vintage, and once again with The Chapel Wars. Don’t get me wrong, the story isn’t filled with fluff or made to be over the top serious. Leavitt makes it balance in a way that makes her writing enjoyable and a good experience. And although I loved the first 60% of The Chapel Wars more than the last 40%, she definitely delivered in what I have come to expect from her […]

Review: The Here and Now – Ann Brashares

Review: The Here and Now ̵..

I kept waffling on whether it not I wanted to read this book. I’m not always a fan of time travel books, but I’m a fan of parallel life books and they sometimes can be the same. And I was a fan of All Our Yesterdays so I took a chance. Sadly this is one of those times that my gamble didn’t pay off. Basically I was really disappointed in this story and I was disappointed for 2 reasons which I’ll explain shortly. The Here and Now is the story of Prenna, a girl from another time that has traveled […]

Review: Better Off Friends – Elizabeth Eulberg

Review: Better Off Friends ..

Basically I was beyond thrilled to get the opportunity to read this book. I’ve been a fan of Elizabeth Eulberg since I read The Lonely Hearts Club(I just reread it!) a few years back. I enjoyed her writing style and her storytelling ability. So when I saw she had a book coming out with my all-time favorite plot I was over the moon. And I’m happy to report that she lived up to my expectations. Better Off Friends was exactly what I expected to get from a Eulberg story and I’m so happy to have read it. Better Off Friends […]

Review: Don’t Even Think About It – Sarah Mlynowski

Review: Don’t Even Think..

I’ve been a huge fan of Sarah Mlynowski for a really long time. I was first introduced to her with her ‘chick lit’ book Milkrun. I don’t know if it was because it took place in Boston or the age I was when I read it, but I was instantly hooked. I have since read her other ‘chick lit’ books and her YA books and reality enjoyed them. So basically I was beyond thrilled when I saw this and even more so when I got an advanced copy. Sad to say though, Don’t Even Think About It just didn’t do […]
