Review: The Happy Ever After Playlist – Abby Jimenez

Review: The Happy Ever After P..

26 In 2019 I was given a copy of The Friend Zone and told to read it. It was a debut from new author, Abby Jimenez, and my friend was really excited about it. She knew it would be something I would love, and she wasn’t wrong. It was the perfect balance of humor and emotional heartbreak and I’m so happy I got to read it. And then I heard about The Happy Ever After Playlist. The companion to The Friend Zone and I was so excited. I loved the character it was about and wanted to see what their […]

In 2019 I read the beginning of a new series, The Bromance Book Club. It was fun and quirky and made me laugh. There was something oddly entertaining about a group of alpha males, mostly professional sports players, reading a romance novel and taking “pointers” from it. It was refreshing in a sense. So when I heard about book 2, Undercover Bromance, which was featuring my one of my favorite guys from book 1, was coming out I was thrilled. It’s true when they say that reading tastes change. When I started blogging Andi’s ABCs was a blog that only covered young adult books. I had lost my love for romance novels and just stuck with what I was currently into. But as time passed, 7 years to be exact, I found myself falling back in love with the romance of a romance book. I actually even spent a whole month in 2019 reading just romance books and it was glorious. Now I spend my time between reading YA (which I still love) and an exciting new romance. 2020, in […]

Brothers liking the same girl can easily be a hit or miss with me. The author really has to nail it for me to buy into it because if they don’t it can come off a gross and creepy.  Mia Sosa is one of the ones that has nailed it. Lina and Max had such an unexpected chemistry that felt natural and had nothing to do with his brother, Lina’s ex-fiancé. The story definitely wasn’t perfect and it had one small head scratching moment for me, but I devoured this book and loved it. It was engaging and charming and […]

Review: The Friend Zone – Abby Jimenez

Review: The Friend Zone –..

I first heard about The Friend Zone over a year ago when a friend of mine got to read the manuscript. She couldn’t tell me anything about the book (it didn’t even have a title and was still in submission) but she told me she loved it so, so much and she hoped that everyone got to read it. Fast forward to now and I can say she was 100% right. The Friend Zone was awesome. It was the perfect balance of humor and emotional heartbreak and I’m so happy I got to read it. The Friend Zone is the […]
