Welcome to The ABCs where you can see what accessory, book and clothing item others are lusting after! If you would like more information or would like to sign-up you can click HERE. I’ve also created a place for authors to sign-up and do the ABCs for one of their main characters. Check that out HERE.
Today we have Bernadette from The Bumbling Bookworm sharing with us the accessories, books and clothing items she is lusting after.
Now let’s give a warm ABCers welcome to Bernadette! Side note: I think she is the first Australian to grace the ABCs as well.
I love scarves and my collection is EPIC. I have enough scarves to wear a different one every day for more than a month. That’s right, a month!
It’s not really scarf weather in Australia right now, what with summer starting next week and all… Luckily, I live in Melbourne, where the weather is so changeable that you could almost still pull it off! And even though summer will be here come December 1st, that still doesn’t stop me from lusting after this scarf.
It comes in other colours, but I really like this one. It reminds me of the colour of pages of an old book, where you’d still find the library due date insert. I’ve been after a bookish scarf for a while, and I might just drop hints for
my nearest and dearest just in time for Christmas.
I’m meeting Sarah J. Maas this week, and I’m sooooooo excited! In honour of that, I CANNOT go past my favourite book of hers, A Court of Thorns and Roses.
Beauty and the Beast has long been one of my all time favourite stories, and I adore the Disney movie. I’ve always been a bit of a Belle, my nose always stuck in a book! Sarah took everything I loved from Beauty and the Beast and made it her own in ACOTAR. I’m super excited that this book is the first in a trilogy, with book 2 (A Court of Mist and Fury) being released in May 2016.
I know Throne of Glass has been around longer and gets more love, but ACOTAR is so amazing. If you haven’t already read it, you totally should!
I haven’t owned a denim skirt in years, 10 years at least, but apparently they’re making a comeback this year! Obviously my tastes have changed in the last 10 years, I’m not into the mini skirts I used to wear when I was in high school, but it seems it’s not just denim minis that you’ll find these days.
I’m especially in love with this skirt from One Teaspoon, an Australian brand. It’s a sophisticated take on a denim skirt, in a pencil skirt more like those I wear to work in my job as a lawyer. However, the distressed denim stops it from looking too much I’m heading off to court or into the office. I also love the side and back views, I’m so in lust with this skirt!
Sophistication + cool factor, this is a skirt I need to own!
