I have never really been into the book club thing. I think it sounds fun, but I don’t like being “forced” to read a book. I like readalongs when they come naturally. But when a book club happens I almost feel like I’m back in school and I need to read this book for a report or something. That being said, I’m not opposed to them completely, just not sure they are for me. But just because it isn’t my thing doesn’t mean I don’t have some books that I think would be great for a Realistic Contemporary book club pick:
What Happens Next – Colleen Clayton {REVIEW}
The Lies About Truth – Courtney C. Stevens
All in Pieces – Suzanne Young (out 11/8/16) {REVIEW}
The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love – Sarvenaz Tash {REVIEW}
The Last Time We Say Goodbye – Cynthia Hand {REVIEW}
Things We Know by Heart – Jessi Kirby {REVIEW}
Every Last Word – Tamara Ireland Stone {REVIEW}
I’ll Meet You There – Heather Demetrios {REVIEW}
Something Like Normal – Trish Doller {REVIEW}
Maybe One Day – Melissa Kantor {REVIEW}
What books would you suggest for this book club?

The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love has been popular at my library – I’ll have to give it a try. š

I got my Grandma to read I’ll Meet You There. It was the first YA I got her to read. She really liked it, and she adopted the phrase OMG. š
I haven’t read any of these! The cover for The Lies About Truth is definitely pulling me in though I’ll keep my eyes out for these reads at the library.
