Admittedly since my 15 Cards in 30 Days challenge I haven’t made too many cards. Truthfully I have been on a reading binge. First I devoured A Court of Wings and Ruin. Then the Mayhem series by Jamie Shaw came into my life. Because of those books I was more interested in words than glue and stamps. But I have managed to make some (with 2 I can’t show you yet). Here is a look at 6 cards I have recently made:
This one is not my favorite of the bunch. I tried my hand at a watercolor background for the first time. In truth I don’t hate it, but it is something I need to definitely work on.
When I got the April Hero Arts monthly card kit I was inspired by all the fashion and girly images. I had a lot of fun creating this one and I look forward to doing more with this set.
Because of the card above I was inspired to try to find a way to use both of those images again. Originally I stamped these both like this on scrap paper but then an Idea formed and this card was born. It actually is one of my favorites.
I recently watched a Youtube video that used a Snow Marker to make the foam on beer. I was immediately inspired and bought all the products to make one for someone close to me. He’ll love it…I hope. Now I want to use the snow marker on ice cream cards.
I don’t do a lot of prayer/sympathy cards, but I couldn’t not get this stamp from Unity Stamps. It is just so gorgeous and fun to color and come up with designs for. I have so many different things I want to try to do with it, but for now I love this pink combination.
And lastly I made my mom her Mother’s Day card and she loved it.
What do you think of my cards? Any favorites?
