It’s check-in time for my Netgalley update. Back in January I celebrated my 7 year blog anniversary and introduced a new individual challenge I am taking part in. I had picked 25 books on the Netgalley queue that I planned to read to help my Netgalley feedback ratio. It isn’t as easy as I expected.
March was a good month for me to catch up on some of my Netgalley Bingo books. Previously I had 4 books read when I checked in in February. In one month I read 6 books from the card. And two of those books I have had in my Netgalley queue for YEARS! I had such a feeling of accomplishment marking those two books off my list. For April I have 3 more of these books on my TBR. I consider it progress!
My personal Netgalley goal of upping my percentage is as always a work in progress. I was good over the last 30ish days. I only got approved for 3 books and that’s because I haven’t requested that many. And I have been able to review books on Netgalley which has gotten my percentage up. It feels really good to be at 61%. I’m still a far away from my goal of 70%, but I’m happy I’m moving up and not down. (Note: I only read 6 Netgalley books this month. The number is higher to reflect the books on my shelf just waiting on review. After March the number will be correct.)
