The ABCs with Emma from Miss Print

Posted October 29, 2014 by Andi in Guest Post, The ABCs / 0 Comments

Welcome to the revamped ABCs.  In the past I have used this weekly Wednesday post as a link up but times are a changing. I’m switching things up as you have learned HERE.

Today we have Emma from Miss Print sharing with us the accessories, books and clothes she is lusting after.

Now let’s give a warm ABCers welcome to Emma!

The ABCs is one of my favorite weekly features to check when going through my blog reading, so I was super excited when Andi opened it up to sign ups (thanks Andi!).
Despite being eager to participate, it was harder to come up with items for this post than I thought. After some intense deliberation here are my ABC picks:

Accessory: Crushable Velvet Merlot Hat from Victorian Trading Company
Left to my own devices, I would own everything from the Victorian Trading Company catalog. I would use them for all of my clothes, gifts and furniture. I am a big hat wearer in the winter for both warmth and style. I have a few lovely hand-made ones that my mom knitted or crocheted. But sometimes you just need something different. That’s where this crushable hat comes in. I like that it’s sturdy enough to be shoved into a pocket or bag but also structured enough to look like a cloche style hat.

Book: In the Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken
When I realized my post date was close to the release of In the Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken, my book choice becameobvious. I am a super fan of this series and met Alex at BEA when she was signing both of the earlier titles in this series. I am incredibly anxious to get my hands on this final installment.

Clothing: Emma T-Shirt from Litographs
I had a hard time coming up with a clothing item for this post until I remembered Litographs. Now that I have remembered them, I’m not sure why I don’t own this shirt already. I’m a big fan of Jane Austen and of course the novel Emma is special to me for obvious reasons. Litographs has many options for books printed on t-shirts or totes or poster board. A lot of the designs are tempting but none of them speak to me quite as much as this one (except maybe Persuasion). Perhaps it will be a Christmas present to myself once I can pick a color!

Thanks for having me Andi!

Thanks Emma for playing!

If you would like to play like Emma did, sign-ups are open.
