If you know me you know that Kerry Rea’s debut, The Wedding Ringer, was my favorite book of 2021. She has a way with her writing that really tells a story. That’s why, although just getting it in, I did her sophomore book, Lucy on the Wild Side as the September 12 Months of Romance pick and I bring you and animal theme post.

Animal onesies are the most fun costume you can get. I have 2 currently and I love them. Since Lucy works in a zoo these two were fitting to highlight. But truly you can get a ton of options on Amazon. Mine are a flamingo and a unicorn because what 40+ year old adult doesn’t need those in their closet? HA

I strongly believe leopard print is a neutral and there is nothing I love more than a good pair of leopard print shoes or a bag. Last year I bought these Rothy’s and I love them so much. I love wearing them with black ankle pants and a black sweater. It is a nice pop to the look. And you can never go wrong with a leopard bag, although I would never wear both together, HAHA.

San Diego Zoo||Bronx Zoo

As I mentioned before, Lucy on the Wild Side is set in a zoo in Ohio. I am not a huge zoo person, although I love when the zoo close to my house hosts Brew at the Zoo (Google it to see if they do one near you), I don’t go often. But I have always wanted to go to the San Diego Zoo and I have heard wonderful things about the Bronx Zoo.
