Today I have the pleasure of helping to celebrate Roald Dahl month by being a part of blog tour showing off all of his amazing work. I was lucky and got Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (a favorite of mine) to share a fun post about. When asked for an idea I couldn’t think of anything more fun than doing an ABCs for a book dedicated to candy so that’s what I did. Here are The ABCs theme of candy.
Accessory: Judith Leiber Ice Cream Cone’ crystal pavé minaudière
Judith Leiber is known for her fun quirky bags covered in crystals. You have probably seen them on the red carpet or even on in the Sex and the City movie. Although not really practical or affordable, they are so stinking cute that you can’t help but smile at some of them.
Book: Candy World Coloring Book
Coloring books are super popular right now. They are such fun ways to get your creativity out and to relax. There are so many options you can buy and have fun with. But seriously what is more fun than coloring candy?? Candy stores are some of the most colorful places I know. Go and have it with those color pencils or markers or crayons.
Clothes: Project Runway Unconventional Challenge with Candy
I am an avid Project Runway watcher. I love seeing what people can come out with and design. I love all the challenges but my favorite is always the unconventional challenge. I love seeing what people can do with things that aren’t fabric but fashion them in a way that they look like they are. The two looks above are my favorite of the season they used candy from Dylan’s Candybar in NYC.
