Like all readers there is no way to read every book you are super excited for. I had probably 100s that I wanted to read that were coming out in 2016 a lone. There are just that many books that spark our interest. But there are always those books that make you sad you didn’t read as soon as they came out, those books that you are ashamed of yourself when you do read them and fall in love. Here are 10 I hope fall in that catagory:
My Lady Jane
Summer Days and Summer Nights
Best part about this list? I know 9 out of the 10 and could have truly read them at just about any time.
What books did you miss in 2016? Any on my list?

I really want to read Summer Days and Summer Nights too! (but do you also feel you have to wait for summer to come back round now? – it’s like reading Christmas books in June… there’s something just not quite right about it…)
And Royally Screwed… tempted to get it just for the cover… š
Hope you get to read a few of these this year!
Happy Reading

Royally Screwed is one of my most favorite books of 2016! I can’t wait for the next one to come out. I hope you have time to read it soon!!

I really liked The Sun is Also a Star! I haven’t read any of Nicola’s other books though. Great list!
Krystianna @ Downright Dystopian
The Sun is Also a Star, My Lady Jane, and The Serpent King would be on my list as well if I were to make one. Of course, I would never be able to limit my list to ten books. Just too many books and not nearly enough time…
SO GLAD to see My Lady Jane on your list! It’s THE BEST (and funniest) 2016 publication I read this year — so much fun!
Thanks for sharing (my TTT: http://bit.ly/2icZADI)! ~Gwen
The Long Game & My Lady Jane both made my list too.
I LOVED The Rose & The Dagger. And I liked The Darkest Corners.
I bought a copy of Summer Days and Summer Nights in November, but decided I wanted to wait until Summer time to read it.
I hope you enjoy reading these. š
Oh nice! I STILL need to read The Rose and the Dagger as well as The Darkest Corners!! Hope you get to read all of these this year!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

My Lady Jane is SO much fun! And The Long Game is intense!
I have yet to read anything from Emma Chase (yeah, yeah, I know) so when everyone was raving about Royally Screwed I was determined I was going to jump right on it. Yeah, that never happened. I decided against Summer Days and Summer Nights. I only recently read My True Love Gave To Me and it was such a mixed bag for me that I decided I would forgo the summer edition. The Serpent King… I’m determined it will happen in 2017!
